TNT Express UK and Indesit Company UK head the list of firms shortlisted for the Motor Transport Awards 2009.
TNT is up for the Environment Award, Safety Award, and International Operator of the Year, while its national engineering manager, Steve Davis, is shortlisted for Fleet Engineer of the Year.
Indesit is nominated for the Best Use of Technology, the Innovation Award, Training Award and Urban Delivery Operation of the Year.
CEVA Logistics is shortlisted in three categories: Innovation Award (with B&Q), Safety Award and Fleet Engineer of the Year (for Stuart Wardlaw).
Also up for three is Palletline: Best Use of Technology, Livery of the Year, and Safety Award.
United Biscuits Logistics has three nominations too: Environment Award, Low Carbon & Efficiency Award, and Partnership (with Nestle Group Logistics).
Haulier of the Year is a battle between Nightfreight, Steads Haulage, Tradeteam UK and defending joint-winner Turners (Soham).
