How to enter

■ Read carefully the description of the category you wish to enter.

■ Read the top tips of what the judges are looking for.

■ Explain in no more than 1,000 words why you deserve the Award: what you set out to do and what has been achieved. Do not exceed 1,000 words with your submission (appendices are excluded from this count).

■ Provide supporting evidence – this is crucial.

■ Complete an entry form. You must use a new form for each category you enter, and ensure you have read the terms and conditions for entering. Photocopies are acceptable.

■ Send three copies of your entry to Angela Jones, Motor Transport Awards, Quadrant House, L3,  The Quadrant, Sutton, Surrey, SM2 5AS.

■ The completed forms and entry must reach Motor Transport by Friday 9 April 2010.
