In April 2012 Stoneridge launched its new SE5000 ExaktTM, the One Minute Rule digital tachograph, now with Duo technology. The tachograph is first in the market place to be offering a product with exciting new features which help drivers organise and manage their driving time more efficiently. The new features help drivers more easily keep within the Drivers’ Hours legislation as well as maximise driver and vehicle utilisation and handle deviations from pre-planned schedules.
The SE5000 Exakt DuoTM is also 2nd source of motion ready in line with the new 1266/2009 legislation due to come in later in the year, and will continue to offer the One minute rule time savings which have seen fleets benefiting from an average of 45 minutes extra driving time per driver per day.
Stoneridge’s OPTAC3TM suite of tachograph analysis packages, can be tailored to every fleet size and type from owner-drivers to large international fleets, and for analogue, digital or mixed fleets. The user can choose whether to install the software on their own PC (holding all data themselves), on a company server (providing easy access for larger fleets or depots) or even to use it on the Web (access to data online, wherever they are). The software is also designed with different band levels and download credits that can be topped up so that you only pay for what you need.
